Jillian Michaels is a personal trainer and fitness guru who is always ready to share certain advices, exercise tips, and trusty exercises when kicking ass on a daily basis comes to question. The most important is that she is so motivational and keeps your energy up that in a very short period of time will make your badass mom to return in its attractive shape.
Today she is sharing with you a booty workout that will leave you sore when you will wake up the morning after.
The workout that she titled as ‘booty burner’ does not request certain professional equipment, just a bench and a pair of dumbbells. For those who do not have much experience in exercising may leave the dumbbells aside.
Start the booty burner workout with Bulgarian split squats, but leave the dumbbells aside. These may look too simple for you, but the Bulgarian split squats will put your glutes on fire just in a few seconds.
The next movement that you will need to do is the hip thrust. At this point the dumbbells need to be on your lap and the upper part of your body to be resting on the bench. Then stand up on the bench and do alternating curtsy step-ups. While performing the curtsy step-ups leave the dumbbells aside; do not worry, you will burn enough calories without the dumbbells too.
The exercise that follows will bring you to tears for sure. As you are standing on one of your legs in front of the bench, hold one dumbbell at your chest. Next, you will need to perform a single-leg squat until your butt touches the bench. Afterwards, you will give to rise back up and while still standing on your one leg, and then make a step with your other foot to the front, so that you may turn your body into a lunge position. In order to balance on your back leg again, you will have to push off the front foot. As this you have completed one repetition. Admit it, it is quite hard. The hardest part is yet to come, because you will have to make repetitions of the exercise.
Jillian Michaels considers the time intervals much more effective than the repetitions. Thus, basing her work-out on a fitness level, she recommends performing each exercise in a period of 30 seconds, making two rounds.
