The pain in the joints is a common problem that aggravates even during the easiest daily activities and can lead to swellings, inflammation and discomfort and doesn’t depend on the age or gender. It can vary from acute to chronic, from mild to severe.
The joint pain can be caused by the gout and arthritis mainly, but also by injuries, broken or dislocated bones, leukemia strained muscles, fibromyalgia and even bursitis. It might also be aggravated by certain foods.
Sugar and artificial sugars
The excess sugar in the body leads to inflammation as it triggers cytokines (the inflammation agent initiates) and can also lead to the weight gain and pressure on the joints.

The eggs are among the foods that when regularly consumed can lead to more inflammation and swellings as they contain saturated fats. The yolk contains arachidonic acid that produces prostaglandins, which causes inflammation too.
Consumption of alcohol can influence a negative effect on the joint pain. For instance, the purines from the beer are converted to uric acid which is detrimental to joint pain. As beer also contains gluten it is harmful to fragile joints.
The high amount of protein in dairy also worsens the overall pain, so, intake it also irritates the surrounding joint tissues.
It happens also with the saturated fats in dairy (cheese, milk, butter), which are detrimental to the pain in the joints, so, instead consume almond, tofu, soy milk or margarine.
Grains and refined flour
A high glycemic index in the grains and refined flour stimulates more AGEs and increases inflammation.
According to the experts, the wheat items and grain cereals if consumed on a daily basis, develop chronic autoimmune diseases. Its consumption also raises the risk of diabetes, heart issues, and even cancer.
Avoid and replace them with coconut, whole grain, almond and brown rice.
Monosodium glutamate foods
The monosodium glutamate (MSG) additive in the foods improves their flavor, but it has an extremely bad effect in the case of rheumatoid arthritis.
Whey proteins contain casein and gluten, which aggravated inflammation, as it produces the uric acid, which in excessive levels leads to gout.
This is important to know that the people with gluten sensitivity are also prone to gout, which is showed in the Journal Nutrition Biochemistry published a study in 2013. In this study were examined the foods without gluten which showed the ability to reduce inflammation and insulin resistance.
The omega 6 acids that are found in corn oil are dangerous to our health. Many conducted studies showed that these acids lead to inflammation.
It is recommended to avoid soy, salad dressings, peanuts, safflower oil and grape seeds. You should not remove them completely from your diet but always eat them, reasonably.
The additives and chemicals in the table salt ruin the fluid balance in the body, which causes losing of calcium in the body. In order to prevent this situation, and save the calcium which is needed for the bones, avoid this salt.
You should be also careful with the junk foods, as they are rich in salt, and instead replace refined with Himalayan pink salt and sea salt, or just eat it in reduced amounts.
